Bridesmaids, every bride needs them. Do you want to ask your bridesmaid in some cute and funny way but don’t have any ideas? Then continue reading!
When asking your bridesmaid, you want to put some extra effort into it. In the next few months, she will be your support, help you with all the planning and tasks and plan your bachelorette party!
You want to show this girl how important she is for you.
In this article, I am giving you some ideas how to do it. The best thing you can do is take this idea and personalize it for you and your bridesmaid.
So, let’s get into it.
Pop the balloon
Quite common and especially super easy way how to ask your bridesmaid. If you don’t have much time and want to do something simple and cute, this solution is for you.
All you need is a personal note, balloon, gift box and a ribbon. Put the note into your balloon before you blow it up. You can also add some confetti or shiny stars.
Do not add glitters though, only in case you will pop the balloon outside and are willing to get messy. Getting rid of glitters in your hair and on your clothes is no fun.
Personalized surprise box
Another very common way to ask your bridesmaid. Basically, it’s a gift box filled with everything your bridesmaid loves. Sweets, bottle of good champagne or some cosmetic product. It’s really up to you. You can also add a card or a drawing if you like to get creative.
There are no limitations to your imagination. Buy some decorative paper and make it look good. If you want to put some extra effort into it, you can print out “Bridesmaid” on sticky paper and put it onto whatever you put in the box.
If you don’t have any idea what you could put into the box, you can also get super cute premade boxes or “survival kid” styled boxes. Add stuff your bridesmaid will need on your wedding day to help you. Stuff like light pink nail polish, chewing gum, biscuits to eat or small sewing kit.
Special idea: Have your question baked into a fortune cookie or a muffin.
The less frequent idea is getting a nice piece of jewelry for your bridesmaid. It can be anything, but most gifted are necklaces with pearls and gorgeous earings. If you already know what color you would like to choose for your wedding, you can match the color.
Before you pack the gift into a nice ribbon, add a personal note inside of the box of jewelry.
If you like to take pictures of yourself or can’t spend too much money on asking your bridesmaid, this one is for you.
All you need to do is print out your question so that each word is on separate piece of paper. Then take a series of pictures while holding piece by piece.
Going for brunch
Who doesn’t love brunch? It’s a perfect relaxed way how to spend time together and pop up the question.
If you want to make it more official, you can prepare a cute card asking her to be your bridesmaid and give the card to her at the brunch.
I am pretty sure she will keep the card as a memory of this brunch for the rest of her life. 🙂
Afterward, since the day is not even at its half, you can go shopping for bridal accessories or visit a bridal salon.
Cooking a dinner
Cooking a dinner for your bridesmaid is a lovely opportunity to ask her the question.
You can spend some time together, celebrate your engagement and even start the wedding planning.
It’s also a good way how to make up for all the planning she will have to put into your bachelorette party.
Hide it into crossword
Hide your question into a crossword. Make a list of the question based on your relationship with the bridesmaid to make it more personalized.

Print it on a puzzle
You can do this at home and it’s super creative and cute. Just can google some puzzle template and then prepare the picture on your computer.
Print it on a paper and glue it to a hard paper. Then just cut out all the pieces and you’re all set.
Champagne or wine with personalized etiquette
If you know, that your bridesmaid loves a particular type of champagne or wine, get one for her to celebrate with you. Create a personalized etiquette for her.
It can either have the question on it or you write something nice about your bridesmaid. You can also write a poem for her or print out a story how you became friends.
Personalized mug or glass
We all use mugs and glasses every single day. I don’t know about you, but I always have several favorite mugs that I use. And no one else can touch them. 🙂
The most important mugs for me are those that I got from important people in my life.
You can give your bridesmaid a glass saying “bridesmaid”. And don’t be surprised if she ends up using this glass every day.
